Biography of Joseph Kinney
Joseph A. Kinney is a devoted national patriot, writer, art dealer and forensic consultant based in Pinehurst, North Carolina. While Mr. Kinney's business and professional interests are varied, his passion for service in the broadest sense is unbridled. A Kansas native, Mr. Kinney enlisted in the Marine Corps soon after graduating from high school and has been awarded many decorations including the Purple Heart Medal. He holds graduate degrees at the University of Pennsylvania and Syracuse University.
Mr. Kinney has served a senior aide in the U.S. Congress and with the National Governors' Association. He is an active researcher and prolific author. In 2011 his book, THE HEART OF A MARINE, will be released. Recently he has written about the valor of American troops engaged in the fight against terrorism, work that has won him praise in national publications and in the U.S. Congress where he has testified. He is a contributor to Military.com and has written in The New York Times, Newsweek, The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, and several other publications. His personal courage was captured in a profile by Playboy Magazine written by the legendary men's columnist Asa Baber (deceased), as well as profiles in The Los Angeles Times and other publications. He is single.
