Merio Ameglio

This is a wonderful impressionistic cityscape of Paris about 1960. Merio Ameglio was born in San Remo, Italy, and as a young man he went to Paris and settled in the Montmarte district. He specialized in paintings of Paris and Montmarte. He lived in Paris from 1938 until his death in 1970. The artist is listed in the Dictionary of the Painters with Montmarte.
