A museum quality landscape by a superb Dutch painter, Christiann Hendrick Beekman. As evident from this work, Beekman was highly skilled in the use of color with a superbe command of the brush, as can be seen in the detail of the flowers and distant horizon. Unlike most painters, Beekman ventured into a wide range f subject matter: portraits, animals, etc. Beekman’s paintings often bring substantial prices in auction. In excellent condition.
