"An Alpine Village At Sunset,” a lovely and very large oil on canvas by the noted Austrian Alpine painter Hans Barma. Barma's work is highly collectable and is compared to that of his compatriot Laszlo Neogrady. This view depicts a village nestling in the Alps with a wonderful sunset setting on the mountains in the background. The two painters executed wonderful oils of Alpine scenes, notably their best works were always sunset pieces that captured the dramatic and colorful effects of the falling sun.
