Here we have a superb still life featuring a nude by August Mosca, a well-listed painter. Influenced by Joseph Stella, Mosca often painted New York City views as well as the human figure and portraits. This painting reflects the intense imagination and incredible skill that Mosca possessed. Exhibited:  NAD, 1943; Mint Mus. Art, 1946; Miss. AA, 1946; Irvington Pub.
