George Molnar’s paintings depicting the American west are growing in demand and one can see why in this terrific painting. His use of color, realism and composition really captures the spirit of this great culture. Molnar turns this rustic looking tabletop, into a conversation piece. Technically, Molnar commands superb control of surface and color, but the importance of technique fades as one experiences the spiritual presence of his images. The painting was acquired from The Levinson Collection (Northern California) and has been exhibited at "The Jay Schmidt Gallery" (Carmel).
